DENVER — Homes along Exposition Avenue ended up with water in them after a water main broke Saturday morning.

According to Denver Water, there was a water main break of a 12-inch line along Exposition Avenue, just west of Federal Boulevard, in Denver at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday.

Around noon, Denver Water reported that three homes had water in them as a result of the incident.

Crews were uncertain what caused the water main break, but remained on scene for several hours to repair the damage and determine how it happened.

A portion of Exposition Avenue was blocked off during cleanup, but traffic was still able to get through.
