BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A 19-year-old man from Louisville remains at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood after falling while climbing in Boulder Canyon on Sunday.

Taylor Andrew was climbing in the Castle Rock area of the canyon when witnesses say he fell nearly 30 feet to a rock ledge.

Rescue crews responded and a medical helicopter was used to airlift Andrew to St. Anthony. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office did not say what condition Andrew is in when it released his identity Monday, only saying he was still in the hospital.
