DENVER — Historic Denver announced Thursday a new walking tour program for lower downtown starting on July 12.
The guided tours will touch on this history of the city as well as architecture and “fascinating stories to bring Denver’s history and personality alive,” said spokeswoman Danielle Dascalos.
The LoDo Walking Tour will start and end at the historic Denver Union Station, last approximately 75 minutes and cover about one mile of walking. Tickets cost just $15 for the general public and for $12 for members of Historic Denver.
“The best way to fall in love with a city is by walking it,” Annie Levinsky, Director of Historic Denver said. “We are excited to launch our new walking tour program in LoDo so that residents and visitors can explore that places and spaces that make Denver different from other cities.”
Tours are offered at 1 p.m. on Fridays, and at 10 a.m., and 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
