DENVER — A tornado warning was issued for Arapahoe and Adams Counties until 3:45 p.m. Saturday, and there were reports that the storm produced three tornadoes.

Shortly before 3 p.m., there was a severe thunderstorm in the region capable of producing a tornado, specifically near the towns of Hudson and Strasburg, according to the National Weather Service.

There were several reports as of 3:40 p.m. that there were as many as three tornadoes that touched down, causing some damage near Hudson, which is just over nine miles east of Fort Lupton.

KWGN’s Ashley Michels was in Hudson Saturday afternoon, reporting that most of the damage in the area occurred to more temporary-type structures than anything solid and permanent.
