DENVER — A Trader Joe’s store is set to open in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood early September, the California-based grocery store chain announced Tuesday.
The new 11,600-square-foot store will be located at 661 Logan St. in Denver and will be open Sept. 5, Trader Joe’s officials said in a release.
The location will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and, similar to other Trader Joe’s grocers, will feature Hawaiian motifs as well as artwork from artists within the neighborhood, officials added.
It’s Sept. 5 grand opening marks the second Trader Joe’s store in Denver — the first Denver store, at E. 8th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, opened Feb. 14.
Other Colorado locations include a store in Boulder in the Twenty-Ninth Street shopping complex and a store in Greenwood Village at the Cherry Hills Marketplace.

Because of Colorado liquor laws, the new Capitol Hill store won’t feature Trader Joe’s popular wine, beer and liquor shop.
