DENVER — The Denver Police Department asked Friday for help in locating two alleged bike thieves.

The first suspect was captured on an elevator security camera, DPD said.

The victim reportedly locked his bicycle to a bike rack located in the 500 block of 16th St. on July 7. The suspect then allegedly cut the bicycle lock off by an unknown means and removed the victims bicycle without his permission.

Separately, police were looking for another suspect seen driving a green Land Rover into an unidentified parking structure on July 1. That suspect is thought to have stolen multiple bicycles by loading them into his vehicle.

The license plate seen on the SUV does not match the vehicle and may be fictitious, police said.

Anyone with information in either theft was asked to call police at 720-913-7867.
