DENVER -- Free parking in LoDo on a Friday night sounds far-fetched. But there's no catch, though you have to act fast because there are only 30 spots available.

The Colorado Department of Transportation has leased a parking lot at 2060 Larimer St., branding it "Last Call Lots" because it doesn't want you to drink and drive.

Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, you can park for free in the lot until 10 a.m. Saturday. It's happening for the next three Fridays and it's first come, first serve. Only 30 spots are available.

Besides the parking, you get a Lyft voucher to get home and then back to the lot on Saturday morning. And when you pick up your car, you also get a discounted brunch at Hi Rise or The Lobby.

CDOT picked the next three Fridays because the Rockies play this weekend and next weekend, and in two weeks A Taste of Colorado begins and Colorado plays Colorado State at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Increased DUI enforcement also begins Friday night and stretches through Labor Day weekend.
