Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak named 2016 Texas A&M Lifetime Achievement Award winner
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Congrats to Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, who has been selected as the winner of the 2016 Texas A&M Lifetime Achievement Award, the team said on Saturday.
Kubiak attended Texas A&M, where he played quarterback. He is the first from that school to win a Super Bowl as a head coach.
“That’s pretty special,” Kubiak said in a statement. “Obviously that means a great deal to me. I love the school and I love what it stands for. I look forward to that. It was pretty cool.”
Kubiak will be honored with the award at the 39th Annual Burgess Banquet on Friday, Nov. 18, at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.
