Local firefighters rescue puppies with a pose

DENVER --  The new 2017 Fire Rescue Dogs Calendar debuted this weekend, featuring 15 firefighters from all over Colorado.  All of them volunteered their time and modeling talents to help raise money for the Lifeline Puppy Rescue.

Lifeline is a no-kill rescue operation that helps more than 1,500 puppies a year, according to organizers.

The annual calendar is a key fundraiser, bringing in $20,000 in sales last year.  This year, Lifeline Puppy Rescue hopes to more than double that amount.  The money will help fund the rescue facility located in Brighton.

You can buy the calendar online for $20.
