Golden retrievers rescued from farm need new homes

ARVADA, Colo. – Eleven Golden Retrievers who were rescued from a farm in Kansas where they dealt with harsh conditions are looking for new forever homes.

The pups are currently being cared for by The Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR) based out of Arvada.

“We were more than thrilled to jump in and help,” said Kevin Shipley, with GRRR.

Shipley said the 11 dogs had been void of contact with people, so it’s taken a little while for them to get comfortable.

Fortunately three of the eleven dogs have found new homes. But eight still need to be adopted out.

If you’re interested in adopting one of the Golden Retrievers, you can apply on GRRR’s website.
