Missing 11-year-old at-risk boy from Aurora found safe by ‘keen citizen’

AURORA, Colo. — An 11-year-old at-risk boy who went missing Tuesday night was found safe Wednesday morning by a “keen citizen” who recognized his picture on the morning news, the Aurora Police Department said.

Marcellous Lard was last seen at his home in the 14800 block of East Second Avenue.

He is described as 5-foot-1 and weighing 90 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray polo shirt, blue jeans, and gray- and white-colored shoes.

Police said about 10:45 a.m. that Lard was found safe “by a keen citizen who recognized him today on the news!”

Police have not said where the boy was found.
