A man who was wanted for stealing a shipment of 8.9 million tablets of hydrocodone was caught in Colorado Springs Thursday, after detectives busted an illegal pot grow.
Felipe Hurtado, 50, had outstanding felony warrants from Georgia on charges including cargo theft and trafficking in controlled substances (Schedule II), according to a statement from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, DEA agents, police detectives and other agents searched three homes – two in Colorado Springs and one in unincorporated El Paso County, officials stated.
