2 motorcyclists killed in crash with minivan in Aurora
AURORA, Colo. — Two people riding a motorcycle were killed after a collision with a minivan late Monday night, the Aurora Police Department said.
Police and Aurora Fire Rescue responded to the crash just after 11 p.m. at South Parker Road and East Temple Drive.
Police said the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Parker Road and the minivan was traveling southbound when the minivan attempted to make a left turn onto Temple Drive.
The minivan turned in front of the motorcycle, ejecting both riders. They were transported to a hospital with serious injuries but were pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver and a passenger of the minivan were not injured, and stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
Police said it is not known if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The names, ages and genders of the motorcycle riders and the minivan driver and passenger were not released.
