DENVER -- The Broncos got their second win of the season Sunday with a 34-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts, but it came at a cost.
Linebacker DeMarcus Ware suffered a broken bone in his right forearm and he could miss three to six weeks. He is due to be examined later Monday.
Ware went down in the third quarter, taking a knee in pain. He suffered the injury when he was going after Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.
After the game, coach Gary Kubiak remained cautiously optimistic.
Ware left the locker room in a sling and soft cast. He will go be examined to determine if he can play through the injury or if he will need surgery.
The Broncos play their next two games on the road, on Sunday at Cincinnati and Oct. 2 at Tampa Bay before returning home Oct. 9 against Atlanta.
