Police: Suspect in fatal Denver hit-and-run might have left country
DENVER — A suspect wanted in a hit-and-run crash in June that killed a bicyclist might have fled the country, the Denver Police Department said Tuesday.
Police said Armando Olaciregui was living in Denver when the collision occurred just before 1:30 a.m. on June 12 at East First Avenue and North Gilpin Street.
Police do not know Olaciregui’s current whereabouts but their investigation has led them to believe he has left the country.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for Olaciregui on charges of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run involving death.
He is wanted on warrants for vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run involving death.
