Hema Mullur

Anchor/Reporter

Hema Mullur anchors FOX31 Denver Nightside at 10 p.m. as well as Channel 2 News at 7 p.m. on the CW.

Hema comes to Denver by way of Texas. She grew up in the Dallas suburb of Plano and went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin.

She started her television career at KWES-TV in Midland/Odessa, TX, reporting and anchoring the morning news. A couple of years later, she moved as far west as she could get while still staying in the Lone Star State, anchoring the evening newscasts at KFOX-TV in El Paso.

As excited as she is to start exploring all that Denver has to offer, given her background in the South, don’t be surprised to see Hema wearing a coat in June or throwing around the term “y’all” as often as possible.

In her spare time, Hema enjoys exploring the town with her dog, checking out local bands, and trying out the newest and best vegetarian food in the area.

You can always contact Hema with any stories at hema.mullur@kdvr.com. And be sure to follow her on Twitter @HemaFOX31 and Facebook.
